SMF-V300-Vortex Flow Meter

SMF-V300I Insertion Vortex Flow Meter

The SMF-V300I by SMATEC is a high-performance, insertion-type smart vortex flow meter engineered specifically for large and medium closed pipelines (DN300 to DN2000+). Operating on the Karman vortex street principle, the SMF-V300I allows for convenient hot-tapped installation and online maintenance without disrupting process fluid flow. Featuring an advanced digital differential algorithm for superior pipeline vibration immunity and embedded multi-variable temperature/pressure compensation, it provides highly accurate volumetric and mass flow measurement for steam, industrial gases, and low-viscosity liquids with near-zero pressure drop.

Description
The SMF-V300I insertion vortex flow transmitter delivers an economical and highly reliable fluid monitoring solution for large-scale utility grids. The device features an SS304/SS316 stainless steel insertion probe assembly mated to a polyurethane-coated die-cast aluminum converter enclosure. Equipped with a 5-line high-contrast backlit LCD smart screen, it provides real-time visibility of mass flow rate, totalized flow, fluid velocity, media temperature, operating pressure, and diagnostic error codes. The Ex-rated explosion-proof structure supports dual-power configurations (24V DC line power or long-life internal lithium battery) for extreme outdoor and hazardous environments.
Features & Highlights
  • Cost-Effective Large Pipe Scaling: Installation costs remain fixed regardless of pipe size, offering an extremely economical alternative to massive full-bore inline flange meters for diameters over DN300.

  • Dual-Core Signal Process Filtering: Maximizes signal-to-noise ratio, ensuring accurate flow tracking down to lower velocity cut-offs even during industrial plant vibration spikes.

  • Flexible Structural Form Factors: Available in both compact (integrated converter) and remote split (converter separated via shielded cable) designs to accommodate underground pits or high-temperature piping.
